Best Go-Karting Places in Cape Town - Cape Town with Kids (1)

How fast can you go in a go-kart? Have you and the kids ever tried racing in a go-kart before? It’s massive fun and a great way to get some family competition going! Most go-karting venues require children to be at least 5 years old (sometimes even older). Go-karts for younger children will have more restrictions such as speed, power, and size. So depending on the venue, you can take your entire family to a fun racing day and a real Formula 1 experience. Find the best go-karting venues near you in our list below:

The minimum height requirement to hop into the go-kart is 160cm. They also have a kiosk where you can buy snacks, drinks and coffee during your stay. For groups of 12 or more drivers, they offer special racing packages. Check out their website for more information and group prices.

4. Karts 4 Kidz

If you’re planning a rather unique and unusual kiddies party, how about renting an entire go-kart racing course for the mini party guests? The inflatable race course is completely mobile and can be set up Indoors and Outdoors within a few minutes. The karts’ speed can be pre-set anywhere between 1.5 km/ph and 10 km/ph to suit children of all ages and abilities. It’s most fun for children between 3 and 11 years old. A Karts 4 Kidz event is normally run with 4 x 24v Cub Karts, in an inflatable track of 15m x 11m that acts as a safety barrier for a set amount of time. Rides are supervised by their team throughout the function duration. So if you’ve got plenty of space, why not hire your private go-karting track? It will surely be remembered by all party guests!
